Gone for the weekend

We went away for the weekend for the first time since we moved in September, thanks to our neighbor. When we came back we found that the little squash and zucchini had grown bigger than anticipated. Our carrots decided to push themselves out of the ground, and some of our pumpkins decided to turn orange. Even our tomato plants and cantaloupes decided they would want to participate in the growing action. Thankfully, nothing bolted, which Is traditionally what happens when we decide to step away.
