Spring is here!

Our first sprouts are officially in some raised beds, and our strawberry plants are starting to be nibbled upon by bunnies. We have put up some bird netting to hopefully keep the bunnies at bay along with the birds.

Our three week old chicks are in their chicken tractor, they are much happier being outside in the fresh air than in their brooder pen. Five weeks from now we will have some fresh chicken in the freezer and our layers will be introduced to the ladies.

Our bulbs are officially blooming and we had enough blooms to make our first bouquet. Yellow and yellow/white daffodils to enliven our spirits during the grey rainy days of spring.

Here are some sweet chick picks. They grow up so fast.
