Sharing our abundance

This year all the growth and abundance that we experienced seems to be a bit delayed. Maybe it is the weather, or maybe it was our timing, but our gardens have not been going crazy like they were last year. Now that summer is almost here we are rushing to get our melons and squash propagated and in the ground before it is too late! Our only plight last year was the bunnies and the insects. We had squash coming out of our ears almost to the point of being traumatized! But this year, we can’t seem to get our seeds to cooperate. Maybe the insects are in full attack mode? Or maybe it is the cooler spring that is leading to all the hurdles. I digress. Even though we have had a rough go at this years garden, we are starting to get a good amount of greens popping up. Enough kale, lettuce, and spinach to now be able to share the wealth. We are currently not selling any of our stuff, and we may never do that. But we are always happy to share our blessings with others.
